So, all the way back in 2009 :D, I was asked to write for the new regional eco-magazine, “Louisiana Green Scene,” that was just about to launch. The column I created was featured as the first column that appeared as readers opened the first page/cover. What a true honor. The name of my column was lovingly called, “On The GREEN Scene with Ms. FabuNOLA.” (see below)
I wrote about 5 months of articles to help them launch their new eco-endeavor before needing to focus back to all of my own endeavors (plus I was doing the eco-talk radio show, eTalk on WBOK 1230 AM, while also writing my own FabuNOLA Blog). Although I’m not quite sure if the magazine is still being published (website not working), you can check out their page on Facebook that has some of the details and some of my pics posted in these articles in color: http://www.facebook.com/pages/LOUISIANA-GREEN-SCENE-MAGAZINE/130765996680?sk=photos_stream. I’ve finally been able to get the first 3 monthly editions that I wrote scanned so I can share with you (thanks Jessi!) since they don’t seem to be digitized anywhere online. I hope you enjoy!!
Also, please check out my other articles (posted on this blog on their own pages) for national and and other regional areas (Wash, DC). I hope you thoroughly appreciate these other offerings (VegNews Magazine & BloomBars “Seed of the Week” articles) too.
If you are interested in having me speak at, host/emcee your event, make tv/film doc/event appearances, host, produce & write tv content, perform as a dancer (Salsa or Swing) and/or write for you, please email me at Fabu@FabuNOLA.com.
As always … wishing you only and all of the best.
Peace & Love,
Cherylyn
